About the author

Kevin Huber

Kevin Huber is a father, author of «Humanistische Erziehung – Eine Einführung» and a co-founder of the Humanistische Schule Schweiz association, not its sole founder. His book introduces ideas from Shalva Amonashvili's humane pedagogy to German-speaking parents and teachers, alongside his own observations and experiences.

He sees himself as a mediator of these ideas, not their originator. The book is a personal, spiritually influenced introduction, not a scientific specialist publication or a therapeutic guide.

He also writes the children's books about Spuki the dragon. The stories grew from stories he told his son and explore empathy, respect, courage and togetherness.

“My son showed me that every child has their own way of learning.”
